What makes the Holistic Sleep Coaching so special?
Holistic Sleep Coaching focuses on supporting and empowering parents. We provide you with gentle strategies (based on evidence), which never involve leaving babies to cry alone.
What about crying? Do you use cry it out?
My approach is to ensure that the parent child attachment bond remains safely intact and not leaving your child to cry it out all night. However, crying comes before words and crying is a way that babies communicate. It is normal to resist change therefore some children will cry even while being supported.
What ages do you work with?
I work with newborns to five year olds.
When not to sleep coach?
- Before age 4–6 months of age.
- When your child is going through a Developmental regression
- When your child is suffering from a cold/teething
- When your child is working on another developmental task such as potty training or learning to walk
- Right before vacation
How long does it take to see results?
Some families see gradual progress while others see improvements in just a few days. Communication is key to keep the plan moving in the right direction and detecting when adjustments are needed to continuously see improvements in your child’s sleep.
Can I still feed my baby at night?
Yes, sleep coaching does not equal no night time feeds. If your baby/child still needs night feeds I support any feeding style, breast/chest feeding, formula or combination. I can still improve your baby/child’s sleep without dropping feeds.

Do you work with twins/ multiples?
Will you come and sleep coach for us?
Yes, I provide half and full night sleep support.
Half night support: I will arrive just before bedtime to go over any questions or concerns. I will support you through the bedtime routine, assist with any nighttime waking until midnight and answer any questions you may have before I leave.
Full night support: I will arrive just before bedtime to go over any questions or concerns. I will support you through the bedtime routine, assist with any nighttime waking until morning and answer any questions you may have before I leave.

THIS IS NOT SLEEP TRAINING, In the early months, it is very important to be flexible and respond to your babies needs. My goal is to give you the knowledge, tools and confidence to get your newborn off to a great start towards healthy sleep habits!
